ABOUT

Amanda Kang (she/her) is a dynamic Los Angeles-based performer with a passion for storytelling across stage and screen. Her performance journey began as a dancer and pianist before diving into theater and television, where she brings depth, versatility, and authenticity to every role.

Regionally, Amanda has performed across California, recently making her Southern California debut at Moonlight Stage Productions in Into the Woods as Sleeping Beauty and understudying Little Red. At UCLA, her mainstage credits span musical theater, new works, and opera, with notable performances including Little Red in Into the Woods, Big Ears in Red Bridal Veil, and Guest Services Woman (Soprano) in The Grand Hotel Tartarus Opera. On-screen, Amanda has appeared in over 15 short films and three independent pilots, including the award-winning Ladke and the Bay Area-based Giggin. She continues to train at esteemed LA studios such as Lesly Kahn & Co. and Stella Adler’s Art of Acting.

Amanda is passionate about fostering equity and diverse representation in the arts. As Production Manager for UCLA’s Korean Culture Night and a Lead Resident Assistant, she actively promotes artistic expression across campus, with a focus on Asian American and women-centered narratives. Through her leadership, Amanda creates inclusive platforms that amplify underrepresented voices and celebrate cultural storytelling. She is committed to bringing complex, diverse stories to life and continues to seek opportunities that challenge and inspire both herself and her audiences.
